Happy Easter!

Doesn't this face sum it all up! What joy! What excitement! What a wonderful weekend we had. Grandma Ann arrived in Baltimore at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. Kate has enjoyed every minute with her since. Grandma decided to teach Kate how to dye Easter eggs. Something Mommy wanted to do but didn't have the energy or ambition to do at this point in my pregnancy. Thank you Grandma Ann for making such a special memory for Kate.

Kate picked out one egg for everyone that would be at our Easter dinner on Sunday. She picked the colors herself and wanted to give everyone an egg as a gift. Fast forward to dinner on Sunday. Grandma pulls out the eggs for Kate to distribute. She announces to the crowd, "Listen everyone! I have eggs. Five dollars please!" My brother, Brian, talked her down from five dollars to one dollar. And low and behold she made a little money this evening! Somehow the original generous giving that we were so excited about got lost in translation. But we all laughed. Watch out world...we have a go getter here!
