Just Sitting Pretty

Well, Kate officially turned 5 months old this week. She's changing every day. We love playing with her and watching her laugh. We think she might be starting to teethe. There are no visible signs of teeth yet, but she's chewing on her bottle a lot and at times it seems to bother her to suck on the bottle. We'll be keeping a close eye on those gums for any developements.

In honor of Kate's determination to sit up, Gigi bought her this stylish, purple Bumbo seat. Brenden has a fancier seat of his own at their house too, and now Kate can sit along side him. (As long as Brenden doesn't squeeze his big tushy into her seat first.) If he'd stand still long enough I might be able to get a few photos of the two of them together. But for now, here's some shots of Kate.

p.s. Kate has a new friend. Evelyn and Joey Hutchinson just welcomed a daughter, Esther Joy, into the world on January 16th. They live a few streets over from us, and Katherine is eagerly awaiting their first play date!! Congratulations Hutchinsons!! I'm so happy it's a little girl!
