Has it Been a Month Already?

My little fella is a month old! Well he's not so little anymore. He's going to be a big boy, I think - taking after the Gallagher line.

I can't believe how fast the weeks have gone by. It's mostly a blur of sleepless nights and busy days. But I am trying to capture the precious moments in my memory as I have learned with Kate, time moves too quickly.

Awake and wondering why this bright light keeps flashing at me!

Okay, so I know this is probably just a gas bubble smile, but we should be seeing real smiles in a week or so! I was so happy to capture this on camera. It's hard to time these gassy smiles!

Daddy's Little Girl

Well, Kate has pretty much become Josh's child over the last few months. She has always LOVED her daddy. But in light of all the transition in our home, Kate has attached herself to Josh with new vigor!! Good thing, Josh is such a great dad!

Kate loves to go into Josh's shop during the day.
And it's always a treat to play music with Daddy too!

More recently Kate has taken up a role at house doctor! She loves to take out her doctor kit and check on all members of the family. Here she is giving Josh a thorough looking over.


After a full examination and LOTS of shots, here are some of Kate's recent diagnoses: Daddy has bad diaper rash - no purple cat in his ear - and he needs to get lots of rest. (Wait, I thought Mommy needs lots of rest these days!)
