Last Day with Grandma Ann

We tried and tried to get a picture of Kate with Grandma. She doesn't stand still for long these days. This was the best we could get.

Grandma and Kate loved going out for walks and feeding the geese. Today Daddy took some time out of the shop to come along. The three of them are on a mission to find geese!

Although usually quite independent preferring to walk on her own,
Kate loves to ride on Josh's shoulders.


Grandma was here for over 2 weeks and what a wonderful trip this was! We loved every minute she was here. No one wanted to say goodbye when she left. Kate still is walking around the house asking, "Grandma, where are you?" We hope you'll come back REAL soon!

Sewn with love

Papa Henry has taken up sewing this past year. Lately he's been making stuffed animals for the grandkids. Grandma Ann brought Kate two more creatures to add the yellow bear she got at Christmas time. As you can see, Kate loved the animals! Thank you, Papa!!

The Package Has Arrived!

This is code in my family whenever we successfully pick up a loved one from the airport. Tonight Josh's mom arrived from Washington state for a two and a half week visit. In honor of her birthday, Josh and I flew her out to see her lovely grand baby as her gift. (Southwest had awesome deals this month!!) We are so happy she is visiting. Kate was happy to see her and also happy to see so many airplanes. Airplane is the word of the day today!

Why buy expensive toys?

What about all those toys we just bought at Christmas time? They might occupy Kate's attention for a few minutes, and then they are tossed aside. BUT an empty diaper box. Wow! That's fun!

Well, it was fun until Kate got herself stuck.
